  • Axiom Medical Consulting
    Axiom Medical Consulting provides Marathon Oil Corporation's North America Production Operations with early intervention case management consultation for all employee and contractor work-related injuries and illnesses on Marathon operated facilities/projects.

  • DISA (Data, Integrity, Security, Administration)   
    Contractor companies used on Marathon locations are expected to obtain membership of the DISA consortium or apply for a temporary exemption from the requirement that will expire the earlier of the contract or January 11, 2011. DISA administers DCC programs, which include drug and alcohol testing, background screening, and training on behalf of Marathon. Contractor employees must pass a pre-screening prior to be shown as compliant in the DISA database or have an exemption. Contractor companies and new-to-Marathon employees will be checked for compliance as part of the orientation process. Contractors working on exemption will be audited twice yearly and may be subject to different site management practices. Instructions for completion of account set up forms may be accessed on the DISA website.

  • PEC Premier
    Contractor companies performing safety sensitive work for Marathon are required to register with PEC Premier maintain a current Standardized Safety Questionnaire (SSQ) for the duration of the work. The SSQ provides a secure and easy to use gateway that allows Contractors to report their safety data and is used by Marathon as a tool for Contractor Management.

  • RISC "No Excuses" Contractor Safety Training (Password Protected)
    Marathon utilizes RISC, a third-party learning management service provider to make web-based HES training available to select contractor personnel involved in high risk activities.

  • Safegulf USA
    Safegulf USA-accredited safety orientation is recognized by Marathon for work on Marathon-operated offshore platforms and facilities.

  • Safeland USA
    Safeland USA-accredited safety orientation programs are recognized by Marathon for work at Marathon-operated onshore leases and facilities.

  • vPSI 
    Veley's Problem Solving Index (vPSI) is a tool Marathon uses during incident investigations to evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions.  This process targets those unplanned events that are work related and have potential to damage property, the environment or cause serious injuries.
