Canton, OhioCanton is home to one of Marathon's seven refineries. Canton is the home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, The Canton Memorial Civic Center, and over 60 parks and recreational facilities. These facilities include exercise stations, McKinley and Kennedy memorials, hundreds of acres of nature and picnic areas, and duck ponds (which are used for ice-skating when weather permits). Canton located in northeastern Ohio, adjoining Akron, and is approximately 58 miles southeast of Cleveland, Ohio, and 94 miles west of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Canton's 2006 population of 80,800 ranks it as the ninth largest city in the state. |
