We recently acquired a position in four exploration blocks in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
This is largely mountainous and distinguished by plentiful water, including the Tigris River and several lakes. These qualities have helped Kurdistan become an area known for both agriculture and tourism.
Because of its stability and security, the Kurdistan Region of Iraq has seen increased immigration of a wide variety of Arab and non-Arab populations. In addition, two international airports operating flights to Middle Eastern and European destinations provide an open door to the wider world.
