Employees and contractors at our Brae platform add profitable production from the North Sea. Other core regions include the U.S., Canada and Equatorial Guinea.

Marathon has been actively involved in exploration and production in Oklahoma for more than 70 years. Our well-established production in 10 Anadarko Basin fields represented 4 percent of Marathon's total U.S. liquid hydrocarbon and 18 percent of U.S. natural gas sales in 2010.
We are becoming more active in the emerging Anadarko Woodford resource play. In 2011, we increased our holdings to 110,000 net acres, most of which are held by production.
Marathon is ramping up from three to eight drilling rigs in our operated Anadarko Woodford shale program, with a focus on the liquids-rich condensate and oil windows of the play. Our plan is to drill 45-75 gross wells, of which 20-25 will be Company-operated, in 2011.
We also plan to participate in up to five conventional exploration and appraisal wells in Oklahoma in 2011.
Marathon’s commitment to the community is deeply rooted in our core values. Our employee-run Books for Bioko program collects supplies for schools in Equatorial Guinea.
