Catherine Krajicek is vice president, Conventional Assets, which includes the Company''s operations in Equatorial Guinea, Libya, the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, the U.K. and Oil Sands Mining in Alberta, Canada, as well as corporate Health, Environment, Safety and Security (HES&S). She served as vice president of Technology and Innovation until August 2016, and vice president of HES&S from January through November 2015.
Ms. Krajicek joined Marathon Oil in 2007, and has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility including regional vice president of operations in Equatorial Guinea, asset team manager for Gulf of Mexico production operations, development manager for the Droshky Field Development in the Gulf of Mexico, and asset team manager for Bakken Shale production operations in North Dakota. Prior to joining Marathon Oil, she spent 22 years with Conoco and then ConocoPhillips where she held a variety of reservoir engineering and asset management and development management positions for upstream and mid-stream operating businesses and assets under development in the United States, Indonesia and Venezuela.
Ms. Krajicek graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with bachelor of science and master of science degrees in Petroleum Engineering. She is a member of the IPAA/PESA Petroleum Academy Education Advisory Board and serves on the University of Houston Petroleum Engineering Advisory Board.
