R. Douglas RogersR. Douglas Rogers is vice president of Health, Environment, Safety and Security for Marathon Oil Corporation. He joined Marathon in 1985 as a pipeline engineer. Prior to his current position he served as organizational vice president of Safety, Environment and Emergency Response.
Mr. Rogers was a manager of Marathon Petroleum Company's Environment, Safety and Security organization in Findlay, Ohio, from 2004 to 2005. From 2000 to 2004, he held various management positions including Product Quality Manager. Mr. Rogers served as Marathon's Emergency Preparedness manager from 1998 until 2000. Since joining Marathon in 1985, he held various engineering related positions before moving into Marathon's Health, Environment and Safety organization in 1997.
Mr. Rogers received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Purdue University in Indiana.
