WE WORK WITH CARE
Committed to ExcellenceMore than 27 years ago, Randy Scott began his career with Marathon making donuts at a SuperAmerica convenience store. Today, he manages Speedway SuperAmerica's (SSA) prepared foods program. In addition, he manages the sales team for the SuperMom's organization, which provides fresh baked goods and sandwiches for 175 SuperAmerica stores in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and hot breakfast sandwiches for 1,500 Speedway convenience stores. "To me, Marathon represents opportunity and inclusion," said Scott. "I started out as a part-time employee and then slowly worked my way up the ranks. I'm amazed at the opportunities that I've had with Marathon. Every new job, every move has been better for me, my family and my career." One of the new opportunities for Scott is overseeing Speedway SuperAmerica's prepared foods program. "Within SSA's Foodservice group, we are committed to excellence - in the products we purchase and/or manufacture and in partnering with those suppliers who are likewise committed to excellence. "At SuperMom's, we are committed to excellence in the products we manufacture and in the work environment we create for our employees. "At the end of the day, it comes down to choices. Our customers have many choices to select from when it comes to choosing where they fill up their car with gas, where they buy their coffee and donut in the morning and where they stop for that gallon of milk on the way home from work. The companies that are committed to excellence will benefit the most in terms of establishing loyal customers." Whether it is fostering stronger supplier relationships or improving on product taste profiles, Speedway SuperAmerica and SuperMom's has been able to deliver on its goal to produce fresh, high-quality prepared foodservice products for its customers. |
