Continuous Communications ImprovementIvy Wright manages two Web sites that provide real-time information to retail, wholesale, asphalt and special products customers about product pricing, availability, quality and transactions. She leads the team effort to continuously improve ongoing communication with customers. "My role is to oversee the channel for critical business information to our customers. I deal with almost every Marathon department, including pricing, billing, accounts receivable and credit to provide our customers with quick, reliable access to the information they need to run their businesses. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for our customers to do business with us every day. I really enjoy helping facilitate the customers communication needs of our various marketing groups. It's a real team effort. "Marathon is very customer-oriented. On the retail, wholesale, asphalt and special products customer websites, we also share information about our values, especially health, environment and safety (HES) and diversity. "I have been with Marathon for almost seven years. I worked in Information Technology Audit and have been in Marketing since 2005. I also had a temporary assignment filling in for the supplier diversity manager in Downstream Global Procurement. It's a company I can grow with. I feel comfortable balancing my life and career because I know the Company is behind me." |
