With Marathon Oil Corporation embarking on a new venture, a redefined brand became a necessity. The Company needed an identity that embodies who we are and where we are headed.
As a result of engaging employees and getting their input on how the new Marathon should be portrayed, we were able to clearly define our vision, image and voice. The logo, an abstracted tri-color wave, symbolizes the momentum that results from Marathon's activity in energy exploration and production, as well as our drive and innovation.
