Employees and contractors at our Brae platform add profitable production from the North Sea. Other core regions include the U.S., Canada and Equatorial Guinea.

Marathon strives to employ a workforce that reflects the makeup of the communities where we operate. Offering local employment opportunities develops talent specific to our needs, strengthens ties to the community and establishes a track record that helps us enter new ventures.
Outside of the U.S., training and workforce integration programs may be required and approved by host governments, especially for national employees. Marathon's goal is to strengthen the capabilities of the local workforce in our operational areas in support of business requirements, continue to build capacity and measure progress locally.
Achieving this goal is increasingly challenging due to the technology requirements of oil and gas operations, especially in areas that do not have an established industry presence. Marathon supports educational and vocational programs to build workforce capabilities.
Marathon’s commitment to the community is deeply rooted in our core values. Our employee-run Books for Bioko program collects supplies for schools in Equatorial Guinea.
