Where We Are
- Twelve of 13 members of Marathon's Board of Directors are independent.
- Actively promoting revenue transparency with governments and countries wherever we operate through broad stakeholder engagement, including support of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI).
- Engaging in discussions with policy makers and participating in trade associations on public policy activities.
- Making relevant information on key business issues easily accessible to employees and other stakeholders.
- Promoting and supporting high standards of ethical behavior and compliance with our Code of Business Conduct, applicable laws and regulations, and our policies.

What We Are Doing to Get There
Marathon’s commitment to the community is deeply rooted in our core values. Our employee-run Books for Bioko program collects supplies for schools in Equatorial Guinea.
