Job Summary:

The Successful candidate will be responsible for career development activities related to the development of our National Equatoguinean Staff.

Major Duties/Responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of career development plans for National Staff (IDP).
  • Ensure training requirements are scheduled and met when receiving (IDP) requests.
  • Coaching of both staff and managers to assist in the career development process.
  • Assist in the development of job competency profiles and career progressions.
  • Development and Facilitation of soft skills training for staff.
  • Develop schedules and milestones as it relates to Leadership Development, and Soft Skills Programming.
  • Facilitate training of the Leadership Skills Development Program.
  • Establish and maintain a training calendar that meets the business needs.
  • Create training schedules for all company departments, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company.
  • Assist in planning, creating, and implementing each year's training plan and budget of each department by speaking with department heads and HR personnel to determine training needs.
  • Supervise the administration and maintenance of the LMS (Leaning Management System) trainings.
  • Supervise the communication to employees on scheduled training and track their progress.
  • Manages and supervises all activities of the English training center.
  • Supervise all training activities and logistics aspects of either virtual, physical classroom learning events including travel as needed effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Supports Marathon's Responsible Operations Management System (ROMS) and Process Safety Management (PSM) processes by personal involvement in activities to enhance performance in Health, Environment, Safety and Corporate Social Responsibility.
  • Additional or other duties will be assigned from time to time by the line manager or supervisor as required to meet business needs including personal training and development assignment opportunities.

Job Summary:

Assists the Accounting / AP / Compliance Supervisor or Accounting Manager in all designated tasks to ensure the Company follows accepted accounting practices within Equatorial Guinea and the United States and maintains proper financial records.

Major Duties/Responsibilities

  • Prepare routine and non-routine journal entries
  • Complete general ledger operations in accordance with task list or as required
  • Prepare and analyze monthly closings and monthly financial statements
  • Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts including required support
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports; adjust to changing business needs
  • Prepare analysis of accounts as requested
  • Assist with year-end closings including preparing analyzing support to be used in the annual 10K report produced by Marathon
  • Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable including monitoring for timely collection and payment
  • Monitor and resolve bank issues in a timely manner including fee anomalies and check differences
  • Account/bank reconciliations including resolving discrepancies
  • Review and process expense reports including ensuring sufficient support
  • Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process including data gathering and / or coordination of data gathering
  • Assist in or completes special projects as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, internal policies, and external joint operating and production sharing agreements;
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures; create new controls as the business needs change
  • Cooperate with other departments in providing information as required or requested

AP Accounting

  • Code invoices consistently and accurately (“manage parked report”)
  • Inputs local vendor invoices and manual payment requests into SAP including attaching relevant support in SAP.
  • Prepare monthly statements for employees and supervisors on outstanding employee receivables; monitor for timely collection
  • Process Local check runs
  • Manage petty cash activity; ensure adherence to petty cash policy
  • Manage local XAF bank account balance; ensure sufficient funds to meet business needs
  • Prepare monthly accruals accurately and timely; continuously improve monthly accrual process
  • Perform Account Reconciliations accurately; ensure necessary support is included
  • Prove insightful and timely variance analysis explanations
  • Interact with planning group including understanding project and maintenance accruals and ensuring accuracy
  • Creates and maintains work breakdown structure (WBS) setups in SAP.
  • Monitor time writing to AEGP
  • Provide effective backfill as needed to colleagues
  • Assist in special projects as needed.
  • CEMAC Regulation Compliance

Compliance Accounting

  • Independently performs contract compliance reviews for invoices by contractors for project and operations including:
  • Verifying work content and changes are in compliance with contracts
  • Verifying calculations
  • Interfaces with operations management to reconcile invoice data.
  • Interfaces with procurement departments during setup of vendor and contract data in SAP.
  • Monitors and assists contractors in complying with Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons (MMH) registration requirement.
  • Assist in or completes special projects as required.
  • Cross trains as backup within position.
  • Review customs documents in relation to product liftings before being submitted to customs

Job Summary:

Main responsibilities include liaising with and supporting the onshore groups on offshore project execution. Act as responsible engineer for simple MOC’s.   • Support environmental plan, including waste handling and disposal activities
  • Act as offshore focal point for Projects and Turnaround activities. Facilitate onshore engineering and supports groups offshore project execution in an efficient manner.
  • 5..Develop safe work practices, operating procedures, and management of change to support Offshore Operations and project execution.
  • Act as Responsible Engineer for the development and execution of “Simple MOC’s”.
  • Support Engineering and Reliability teams in the monitoring of acceptable process operating limits based on process safety, environmental limits, mechanical limits, industry standards, performance, and reliability. 8. Initiate and support efforts to increase Operational efficiency, performance, and optimize production rates.

Job Summary:

Heavy equipment operators safely operate heavy machinery (Backhoe, Cranes, Excavator, Stacker, Forklift, Tele handler, Fuel Trucks, Vac Trucks, etc.) used in construction and maintenance work. Heavy equipment operators to work as part of a Maintenance Support crew and report directly to the Rigging and Lifting Supervisor/HEO coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a variety of material-moving equipment daily according to schedule and instruction from the Rigging and Lifting Supervisor, choosing and setting up the right crane, lift or hoist to complete each task safely and efficiently.
  • Move levers, depress buttons, and foot pedals to operate and control the speed/direction of crane movement.
  • Inspect machines and equipment daily, perform routine maintenance procedures and minor repairs when necessary.
  • Control cranes, lifts and other equipment using standard operating procedures to ensure effective transportation of materials and safety for all personnel on site.
  • Perform net load calculations for crane specific lift plans. Fill and complete lift data for given lift scenarios.
  • Create and update detailed log of material transportation operations, including information about type of material, movement locations and additional data requested by the Supervisor.
  • Listen to Rigging and Lifting Supervisor’s plan prior to start of every shift and complete all required tasks accurately and within assigned deadlines with limited supervision.

Department: Maintenance & Construction

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • English Language: Level 3

Job Requirement:

  • Crane and Various Mobile equipment Certificates.
  • Minimum 5-year experience in operating cranes and heavy equipment.
  • Solid knowledge of all the Lifting Rigging Regulations. Solid working knowledge of all Mobile equipment.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience on Backhoe, Excavator, Stacker, Forklift and Tele handler.

Skills:

  • Microsoft Office – report writing
  • SAP: to be able to time write and close out work orders, produce pick lists, etc.
