Job Summary:
This position covers the operation of three bridge linked, normally manned platforms and two normally unmanned satellite platforms. Working on a rotational basis you will report directly to the Production Supervisor and will be expected to supervise a team of multi-skilled operators/technicians, trainees, and roustabouts to safely operate and maintain the facilities within the normal operational and maintenance procedures.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
Safety:
- Carry out Area Authority (Permit Issuer) Role for control of work activities.
- Implement the PEOC Lock Out/Tag Out system.
- Demonstrate own safety commitment to all platform staff by working in a safe manner. Talk with other personnel to ensure they deliver the expected standards of safety. Attend and lead site safety meetings toolbox talks and safety stand-downs, demonstrate commitment.
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures are adhered to over and above utilizing the Permit to Work System.
- Utilize safety behavioral tools such as toolbox talks and Behavior Based Safety systems to enhance safety performance of platform personnel and visitors.
- Develop, deliver, and implement JSA’s.
- Know and apply appropriate risk management practices to all activities.
- Undertake the role of Emergency Response Team (ERT) leader, Muster Coordinator, or other emergency response role assigned by the OIM or Production Supervisor.
- Support Marathon's Responsible Operations Management System (ROMS) and Process Safety Management (PSM) systems by personal involvement in activities to enhance performance in Health, Environment, Safety & Corporate Social Responsibility.
- Participate in a range of internal audits, such as PTW, LOTO and Tier 1.
Leadership:
- Set an example to core personnel and visitors with respect to attitude, professionalism, and all aspects of MEGPL’s safety culture.
- Lead the tech/ops morning shift meeting, ensuring all handovers are covered and ensure everyone is aware of any plant related problems and activities for the day.
- Manage the activities of the team over the course of the day, updating the Production Supervisor of work scope status, issues, defects or shortages.
- Ensure that there is the appropriate level of co-ordination and communication between the Production Supervisor to the Tech/ops to ensure the safe day to day running of the platform and optimum use of tech op skills.
- Provide focal point for any plant upsets or team issues.
- Ensure team members are at a competency level adequate to fulfil their roles and responsibilities and provide the necessary coaching to achieve this.
- Assists area operators with trouble-shooting and problem-solving of process and equipment related events.
- Perform operational tasks within SAP, to include WO creation and general interrogation.
Operations:
- Ensure that maintenance/PMR activities within the operations responsibility are completed in a safe and timely manner and that appropriate records are kept.
- Ensure operations routine checks are carried out and plant upsets are prioritized and dealt with in an efficient manner.
- Assist outside operator as required to maintain efficient operations, e.g., crane or deck operations, preparation of equipment for maintenance.
- Ensure that gas tests, bleed point monitoring and flange tagging are completed.
- Work with maintenance personnel to plan isolations, purge and leak test activities in support of maintenance requirements.
- Maintain current and effective operational procedures – To include the development, review and updating of documents.
- Provide assistance for project work, working with vendors as required.
- Ensure comprehensive daily and rotational handovers take place.
- Take an active role in the personal development of team members, in support of the Operations and Training Supervisor.
- Maintain an optimum process with respect to volume and operational availability in all aspects of managing, monitoring, and operating the following.
- Production from surface trees
- Processing / separation and export of well fluids
- Gas compression and export (turbine driven centrifugal compressors)
- Operation of gas injection facilities/dual service wells
- Produced water treatment
- Operation and manage production of satellite platforms
- Sea water cooling systems – SWLP’s, Strainers and Coolers
- Power generation (turbine driven and recip.)
- Potable water preparation and distribution
- Instrument and utility air compression
- Sewage treatment plant
- Diesel transfer and distribution
- Complete and distribute various reports including the offshore operations, active override and chemical consumption daily reports.
- Operate DCS as required.
- Act as Production Supervisor, when required, as directed by supervision.

Job Summary:

Job Summary:

- Proactively follow up for approvals and signatures to ensure prompt execution of contracts.
- Prepares and leads tendering activities in coordination with the clients through scheduling of meetings, working teams, drafting of RFP, evaluation matrix.
- Ensure the vendor is fully compliant with the contracts by reviewing in an independent manner the compliance documentation.
- Initiate the third-party due diligence process before setting up the vendor and entering into a contractual agreement with the vendor.

- Identify when an activity requires waiver and consult with the risk team in relation thereto.

Job Summary:
Heavy equipment operators safely operate heavy machinery (Backhoe, Cranes, Excavator, Stacker, Forklift, Tele handler, Fuel Trucks, Vac Trucks, etc.) used in construction and maintenance work. Heavy equipment operators to work as part of a Maintenance Support crew and report directly to the Rigging and Lifting Supervisor/HEO coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of material-moving equipment daily according to schedule and instruction from the Rigging and Lifting Supervisor, choosing and setting up the right crane, lift or hoist to complete each task safely and efficiently.
- Move levers, depress buttons, and foot pedals to operate and control the speed/direction of crane movement.
- Inspect machines and equipment daily, perform routine maintenance procedures and minor repairs when necessary.
- Control cranes, lifts and other equipment using standard operating procedures to ensure effective transportation of materials and safety for all personnel on site.
- Perform net load calculations for crane specific lift plans. Fill and complete lift data for given lift scenarios.
- Create and update detailed log of material transportation operations, including information about type of material, movement locations and additional data requested by the Supervisor.
- Listen to Rigging and Lifting Supervisor’s plan prior to start of every shift and complete all required tasks accurately and within assigned deadlines with limited supervision.
