Shara Hammond, Leadership and Inclusion Manager

Through her personal influence and leadership, Shara has helped lead a successful grassroots effort to establish a Women’s Network and sparked several other aspiring employee resource groups. To establish short-term and long-term opportunities, Shara has personally met with more than 250 employees across the company to better establish the pulse of our organization.

Born in Washington, DC to a large working class family who valued a strong work ethic which was rooted in family values and faith. Her educational pursuits lead her to Boston College for her undergraduate degree in Communication and Black Studies and a Master of Science in Industrial Labor Relations from West Virginia University.

After joining the company in 2007, she has served in progressing HR business partner roles supporting International business unit in Equatorial Guinea, North American onshore and offshore field operations, corporate organizations, and leading the Talent Acquisition and Diversity and Inclusion function. With a breadth and depth of expertise spanning a broad scope of human resources, her areas of specialty include aligning unconventional solutions to deliver organizational results in talent management, inclusion, and leadership development.
