Martin Stuart is vice president, Operations, with responsibility for Marathon Oil’s Bakken business, as well as the Integrated Performance Organization. He was named to his current role in May 2020, after serving as vice president Resource Plays South and vice president, Business Planning.

Mr. Stuart joined Marathon Oil in 1991, and has held a number of management positions with the company, including oversight of Eagle Ford subsurface, Oklahoma production operations and Wyoming asset management. He also spent time earlier in his career supporting international production operations in the U.K.

Mr. Stuart holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic and electrical engineering from Robert Gordon’s University in Aberdeen, Scotland.
