As the only school counselor in her district/site of 400 students, ranging from 4 through 14 years old, unconventional thinking gives Rebekah Bray a different approach to help students with their problems. Often in small rural schools, funds and supplies can be limited.

School counselors are natural problem solvers...it’s her job to help students with their problems. There may not always be a way to solve life’s problems and students are often put in situations where they cannot control their reality. However, she can use unconventional thinking to help equip students with tools to have in their “mental tool belt” to better handle their problems.
